By using Ronda you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use it.
Ronda is for adults only. You confirm you are 18 or over when you sign up. If
you are not, you may not use the app, and we will delete the account if we
find out.
Ronda keeps you in touch with people you have met in person while travelling.
Connections are made only by two people scanning each other's code face to
face. There is no search, no friend requests and no way to add someone by
username or link.
Keep your email secure — anyone who can read it can sign in as you. You are
responsible for what happens on your account. One account per person.
You may not use Ronda to:
depicts or promotes harm to people or animals;
sharing, photographing or forwarding a code to someone who is not physically
with you;
is not yours;
There is no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users. Content
that breaks these rules, and the accounts behind it, are removed.
You can report anyone from their profile, and you can block anyone at
any time. Blocking is symmetric and silent: the blocked person is not told,
and neither of you can see the other afterwards.
We review every report and act within 24 hours — removing content,
suspending or terminating accounts as appropriate. Reporting someone does not
tell them you did.
If you are in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services. We are
not an emergency service.
Ronda helps you stay in touch with people you have already met. It does not
vet, verify or background-check anyone, and a connection is not a
recommendation.
Meeting anyone in person is your decision and your risk. Use the judgement
you would use anywhere — meet in public, tell someone where you are going, and
leave if you are uncomfortable. To the extent the law allows, we are not
responsible for what happens between users offline.
You keep ownership of what you post. You give us the limited permission needed
to store it and show it to the people you have met, so the app can work. That
permission ends when you delete the content or your account.
You are responsible for what you post, and you confirm you have the right to
post it.
You can delete your account at any time in You → Delete my account. It
removes your data as described in the Privacy Policy.
We may suspend or terminate an account that breaks these terms, and we may do
so immediately where there is a risk to someone.
Ronda is provided "as is". We do not promise it will be uninterrupted or
error-free, and we may change or discontinue features.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or
consequential loss, or for the conduct of other users, whether online or
offline. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by
law — including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for
fraud.
These terms are governed by the laws of Australia, and the courts of
Australia have exclusive jurisdiction, without affecting any mandatory
consumer rights you have where you live.
If these terms change materially we will tell you in the app before the change
takes effect.
